just me.

The Kalahari Resort had a zoo attached to the property (did I know that when I booked? Of course not! Remember, I had a glass of wine or two when making arrangements for my family on the first floor handicap accessible room near the waterpark main entrance? See above post.)

The following are pictures that I feel accurately represent myself on vacation:
Me after sleeping in the kabin.

Me after visiting the CN Tower.
Me after visting the Kalahari. Kinda thirsty.

Visiting the "zoo" was probably the highlight (outside the Monsoon Saloon of course). The only irritating catch was when we first entered, we had the option of purchasing $20 buckets of carrots to feed the giraffes, $10 buckets to feed the camels and $5 cups to feed everyone else. Evidently, the animals were starving. So let me get this straight...I am paying to enter the zoo, then I am paying the zookeepers to feed the animals that live there? What do the zoo people do all day? Collect money for food?

I gave the boys each a quarter and told them to go to the coin-operated feed machine and throw some pellets at the giraffes.

Traveler tip #47: Giraffes have loooong black slimy tongues.

"Pellets? Are you SERIOUS? Look how big I am, kid. Where is my $20 carrot?"
