We went to Kiawah Island mid October and the weather was beautiful. We decided to rent beach cruisers and explore the island. The ENTIRE island. My backside has not yet recovered. At one point in our journey, we were counting down to our beach access, we considered just ditching the bikes, running for the road and flagging down the nearest car to take us home.
